2015 One & Done Contest Rules

 Basic Rules
Pick 1 golfer for each week's PGA golf tournament. You can only use a golfer ONCE for the entire contest.
Points are awarded based on how much money your selected golfer wins in each tournament.
Apr 9 - Nov 8 (29 weeks).
Cash prizes are awarded to the top performers in the overall season and each of the 3 sessions (9 weeks each) as per the Prize Money Schedule.
About 5 minutes each week to pick your one golfer.

 Detailed Rules
The goal of the contest is to accrue the most earnings by selecting PGA golfers to compete for you over a season of 29 tournaments. Each week you will pick one golfer. The total winnings accrued by your selected golfer at the END of each tournament will be added to your total season winnings. Total season winnings are used to determine the season winners.

In addition to the season competition, there are 3 separate session competitions. The 3 sessions are composed of 9 tournaments. Session 1 is weeks 1-9, Session 2 is weeks 10-18, and so on. During each session, each team will accrue winnings and the top teams in each session will also win prizes as per the Prize Money Schedule.

You may only use a golfer ONCE during the season. You must submit your starting golfer via the website prior to first round play beginning each Thursday. The weekly lineup page contains the lineup deadline which is usually the same as the first tee time. Upon submitting your lineup, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your selected golfer.

Your selected golfer will earn you the winnings he is awarded at the end of the tournament (assuming he makes the cut and wins some money).

The website tracks all golfer usages for each team and makes it easy to determine which golfer you've already used (as well as your opponents). However, you are SOLELY responsible for ensuring that your selected golfer is playing in each week's tournament as all 125+ PGA players are selectable each week. In the rare case you wish to start a golfer not listed in the drop-downs, e-mail the commissioner so he can add the golfer to the list. If there is not enough time prior to a deadline, choose any other golfer as a proxy and send an e-mail to the commissioner notifying him of your intentions. The commissioner is able to adjust your lineup after the fact.

Lineup entry deadlines will be adjusted as needed to accommodate weather delays or tournament postponements. Always check the PTFG website for any updates.

In the rare case a golfer is started and withdraws prior to teeing off or NEVER plays in the tournament, he will not be charged a usage. However, if he plays even one hole and then withdraws or gets disqualified, you are out of luck! If you have selected an alternate golfer, then your lineup will be updated with your alternate pick between the 1st and 2nd rounds. In the unlikely event that your alternate pick is also a NO SHOW, your alternate pick will not be used. Instead, your lineup will be updated with NO SHOW sparing you the usage.

The 2015 season consists of 29 tournaments from Apr 9 to Nov 8.

Season and session cash prizes are awarded to top performers as per the Prize Money Schedule. There is a maximum of 150 participants.
